“True health is about finding harmony is all areas of life and honoring the
interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit.” -Dr. Andrew Weil

Liana believes in a holistic approach to all aspects of mental, emotional, and physical wellness. She values the different backgrounds, beliefs, and paths an individual can take. She finds it as equally important to keep the process of healing and wellness fluid and dynamic, to serve the multiple facets of the individual making the journey. Her therapy style is largely integrative and person centered, with the goal of evolving to meet the needs of the person she is working with. She strives to create a comfortable, expectation-free, private, and supportive environment during her therapeutic sessions. She is available in person or virtually to help all individuals develop skills for any of the complexities, challenges, and traumas life brings. Her foundation in healthcare gives a
unique perspective in working with individuals living with health conditions, chronic pain, those working or hoping to work in healthcare, and those in all types of caregiver roles.

Liana brings nearly 15 years of nursing experience to her sessions. Liana began her nursing career earning her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Arizona State University and providing patient care as a registered nurse at Mayo Clinic Hospital. She then earned a Masters of Nursing from the University of Arizona and became a certified
Family Nurse Practitioner. Liana has spent 8 years working in the pain management specialty.

The physical, mental, and emotional complexities associated with chronic pain led her to pursue additional certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Practice. She is currently completing her post graduate certificate at New Mexico State University with an anticipated August 2025 achievement date. Dr. Sophia Murphy DBH, LPC, CPT, SXI is precepting and supervising her client centered hours for the Fall 2024 semester of
